The Dare:
In 1984, after a dare, Bob Masewicz and his best friend, Bill LaRue, put on a couple of black suits and did a Blues Brothers impersonation for what was supposed to be one night. This one night turned into 23 years. The Blues Brothers Act continued until August of 2007, touring worldwide, growing into one of the most popular traveling shows in sports entertainment. From years on the road of traveling to one sports venue to the next, Bob learned the ins and outs of game entertainment. In 1992, he started B&B Entertainment, (now Total Sports Entertainment) an agency focused on providing sports entertainers to companies world-wide.
The Evolution:
In 2002, Bob joined the Altoona Curve Baseball as the Director of Entertainment/Promotions. While with the Curve, he accomplished the Curve's goal of totally revamping the entertainment experience for a minor league baseball fan and, with his creative input, the team went on to win the Larry MacPhail Promotional trophy for the 2004 season. While at the Curve, Bob developed a comprehensive Excel spreadsheet that streamlined the entire production and game entertainment schedule. From that spreadsheet, Bob developed TSEGameTime®.
The Result:
Since its release in 2006, TSE GameTime has had multiple editions, including TSE GameTime ScriptPRO. ScriptPRO is an evolutionary script management software program which is known as the “evolution of game management.” It is used in all sports levels and types, and it has recently been added to college and high school curriculums across the country. The staff at Total Sports Entertainment is committed to continually updating and perfecting the program to suit the needs and requests of our clients. TSE recently released a new sponsorship inventory addition, TSE GameTime SponsorPRO, in December 2010. SponsorPRO is an evolutionary sponsorship inventory management system used to organize and track sponsorship inventory as well as build/create sponsorship proposals, contracts and proof of performance reports.
